For all those intrepid followers and readers
on this blog, I want to further introduce you
to Yi-Ching Lin. I bumped into her as a fellow
poet working with the Applehouse Poetry Workshop,
that Lynne Rees has going in Europe. I loved
a poem Yi-Ching posted and emailed her, asking
permission to post it on this site, FFTR. She
graciously gave permission for me to do so. I
then began to look at her site found at
YI-CHING LIN PHOTOGRAPHY . It is wonderful
mixture of her photographic images and incredibly
touching poetry, as well as a city bulletin board for
events happening in her home, NYC, and a great
newsletter on health, diet, and philosophy.
Her tagline is "waking up new", and on her ABOUT
page she writes that she is "a perpetual tourist
in the city....follow me."

There was a death in her family in February,
and she mourned for 49 days; which is up today!
I have included many of her incredible poems
for all to peruse--she composed one for almost
every one of the 49 days. If you chose to follow
one of the links back to her site, you will be
charmed and fascinated by what you discover there.

what a lovely bio! thank you. sometimes i think/feel that i'm way too easy to find, so i hope you didn't take too long to gather research (smile). and if you're interested in some singing: http://www.youtube.com/user/ylin002
i did write at least one grieving poem per day for 49 days, not counting today, as of yet. and sometimes, i wrote two or three, but always at least one.
thank you, again,
y
