The Sun Goes There

THE SUN GOES THERE

The sun,
an angel fused
with a peach,
shakes your bones
over a field
fish begin to sprout and leap
through yellow weeds and poppies,
the sun rises
over the land and pours
the blue-streaked fish
into the mountains,
the trembling mountains
the earth's dark breasts.
