Followed him for over a week,
smiling at his blue Nellyness
when I caught his hazel gaze.
Thursday night behind Bruno’s
I broke his jaw and left arm, then
took the 300 bucks out of his wallet,
and as I was leaving he said,
“See you again sometime, sailor.”
