there are these unmeasured
moments
when i not so much as
forget, but stop bearing
in mind,
that you have gone.
imagine going into
the store and filling
up the cart, only
to recall
that there is one less
to shop for.
somewhere,
someone
is polishing
each of these
moments, lovingly,
like bullets
.
