I like this. And your quote made me laugh. I reminded me of last week when I made brussels sprouts with bacon and my son gave me a hard time because I had to have bacon to make my greens edible.

ReplyDeleteWell, I laughted out loud at the quotation! And then immediately thought of the kale chip craze. Really? I'm sorry....I'll take my Ruffles with French Onion Dip made with real sour cream, two times a year (Super Bowl Sunday and during the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day) and figure abstaining the rest of the year is easier than eating green vegetable chips! Fangs indeed! :)

Very true Glenn! One tends to be so much taken up with the goodness of greens as healthy food and greenery as beauty of Spring's colors, one forgets dangers of other things that are just as green. Such reminders can bring back good sense to protect oneself. Great!
