Giggle or Weep

Giggle or Weep

“I was brought up by people who tended to
giggle at funerals.”--Emma Thompson

I heard
a pair of babies
giggling loudly.

This continued
for several
hysterical minutes.

I investigated
and found
my wife staring

at youtube,
playing & replaying
a giggle-duel.

I began
to watch
the video too.

“This trumps chaos,”
she said--we both

giggled.

Fly back to Boston this afternoon....so shall finish reading quadrilles in our Boston study tonight, as well as mementos too . But had to read yours today....you never disappoint.
Ah yes, we do indeed need all the giggles we can conjure up to help us through these times! You always, so to speak, hit the nail on the head! :)
