Sometimes politicians
are like an onion,
that looks great
on the outside,
but it is ten
kinds of rotten
in the center.
As we peel back
the layers,
the putrid stench
of lies, cons
and fish guts
assaults our senses;
the truth can stink.

ReplyDeleteWe won't know unless we seek answers on our own. Sometimes the stink is from the media throwing trash on top of truth. I follow my "in stinks". Great piece! It made me think and that's always good.
