Taboos R Us

Taboos R Us

“Throwing away any piece of paper is taboo.”
--Anne Frank.

Today, most sexual taboos are available for public
consumption on numerous places on the internet.

Let’s talk beastiality, where some men enjoy sex
with animals; dogs, horses, cows and sheep, yup.

Amazingly, in 27 seconds, I was able to find six
million hits for beastiality porn.

I mean, one can find sexual slang everywhere, not
just on shithouse walls; it’s part of the vernacular.

Cunnilingus can be called
muff diving,
clit chewing,
beaver smooching,
down in the canyon.
face sitting,
tongue lashing, &
venus butterfly.

Fellatio is aka
gag factor,
giving head,
knob polishing,
dick diving,
bone bunny,
boner lick-stick,
tubesteak tickling,
embracing the trouser snake,
cobbing the joint, & of course
cocksucking.

Anal sex, somehow, is the most prolific;
butt plug,
anilingus,
fudge packing,
cornholing,
pushing the dirt back,
dirty dicking,
hiding the salami,
donkey punch,
rectal douching,
fisting,
bend over boyfriend,
sodomy,
pegging,
gerbiling,
felching,
figging, and the
rusty trombone.

Hey, don’t get me started.
I don’t even want to discuss
the Boston Steamer
or a Hot Karl.

  1. Oh yes... there are so many funny words for various taboos and fetishes...

I do remember the song "Bobby Brown" by Frank Zappa, which became a huge hit in Sweden where people probably didn't understand the lyrics.

  2. I learned a few new words today. If we were comfortable about sex we wouldn't have to invent silly names for it.

  3. But it's not taboo. It's just the opposite, banal and prosaic. We allow kids to think it's a must do or you're weird. We've lost our moral compass somewhere.

  4. I hate porn but I did have to laugh at some of these silly, uh, euphemisms? What’s the opposite of euphemism? And, speaking of opposites, I agree with Jane: not taboo but so in your face it could be a mirror. As I wrote, sex for procreation is today’s taboo.

  5. Agree with Jane and Amaya's comments ... you know a lot about these deviations Glenn, all the terms!

  7. What is in when we can bandy an infinite number of names for something once so taboo? Is the relish of regression's unzip? I suppose, but unrestraint tells me far less about humans and sexuality than about the florid lash of indulgence. Is the dragon of taboo mightier in or out of its cave? Your research shows that the scales of excess are legion!

  8. Good observation that obscenity is part of the vernacular. It is a good reminder for me to be careful what I say. However small, it has an effect on the culture.

  9. Well, I learned something new here- wow.

  10. If only People
    And Words Are
    Not For Sale
    If only
    Freedom
    is no Longer
    Taboo Just for Sale..:)

  11. quite the catalogue, Glenn and you even missed a few and you didn't get to masturbation.
Enjoyed the poem...got a laugh out of it...Joyce, Henry Miller, Shakespeare all got their bawdy on at times.....to be honest, I like inventiveness in language no matter what the subject...once down in Georgia at a party, a guy told me that his friend had drank too much and was selling buicks in the parking lot, I later found out that meant he was puking. Juvenile, yes, but funny at the same time...good work Glenn!!! JIM

  12. One has to wonder if love often enters the equation any more.
