The Healing

 The Healing

“Once you choose hope, anything is possible.”

--Christopher Reeve.

Trump’s

in the dumpster,

and Biden’s

in the oval office,

regardless

of the behemoth

challenges,

I feel like

anything is possible.

Yes,

our circumstances

are dire,

but a torrent

of new days,

multiplies

the possibilities.

The darkness

is dense,

but

I see

the light.

  2. Glenn, I especially love these lines:
    "a torrent

    of new days,

    multiplies

    the possibilities."

  3. Oh... if only... it seems like half the US population is turning their back to wait another four years.

  4. AMEN to that! There truly is a light at the end of the tunnel....just wish we would reach that opening before January 20th! I do believe the Republicans are going to need to make an intervention soon as this buffoon is causing so much harm by not granting Biden access to Covid teams, security briefings etc.

  6. Things are starting to look up for you all. Let's hope Biden comes up with a good plan to get Covid under control.

  8. We all see a bit of light, but it's ambitious to think he will go away. He will be gathering his minions and sewing seeds of discontent, all for the glory it gives him that they believe his lies. Mein Godt, the man could lead a revolution, shouting "Charge!" to his ragtaggle militia! It's the stuff of nightmares.

  9. Even in full daylight, the nightmare remains.

  10. Super piece Glenn. The one promising thing is, once he is out of the White House, his Secret Service team becomes much much smaller.

Any other choice is intolerable at this point. I think Bjorn is right though, half the nation will dig in and wait for 4 years. I won't let their tantrums stop me from enjoying the now.

  12. I had a feeling you would write about this. Haha. We all hope for better days ahead. Nicely done.

  16. But now, what will you write about, Glenn?

  17. It is indeed great to see the light at the end of the dark, Trumpian tunnel. I just hope Biden does enough to avert total climate catastrophe.

  20. I am beginning to see light at the end of the long dark tunnel, however he keeps on keeping on which is terrifying.

  21. I'm looking forward to the light, but wary of a recurring shadow.

  22. I finally see some light, but need the whole transition thing to be over.
