Justice For All

Justice For All

“Each day we should wake up foaming at the mouth

because of the injustice of things.
--Hugo Claus.

To be

fair,

or not to be,

that is the inquiry.

Mostly life

is not fair,

and very few

maidens.

Diana Spencer

actually was,

and look

how that turned out

for her.

Politicians

love the word,

but rarely do

practice it.

More’s the pity.

  2. Often those who talk about what's fair are those who are promoting unfairness.

  12. Enjoyed your take here! Fairness is a "candle in the wind" flickering wildly as we all squint. (Sanaa got that song in my head after reading her comment!)

  19. So true, Glenn! Life isn't fair, and you are correct about the politicians. (Same with the ones talking about losing their freedom and rights when what they mean is imposing their own views and restrictions.)
