Dear Readers,
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn Buttkus, a beloved member of our community and a talented poet. Glenn passed away on Friday February 17, 2023, leaving behind a rich legacy of poetry and short stories that touched the lives of so many.
Glenn's poetry was a reflection of his creativity and passion for participating in prompts from many online groups. Please feel free to share your thoughts, memories, and tributes to Glenn in the comments section below, as we honor his life and celebrate his contribution to the world of poetry.

Oh this is so very very sad to learn. I so enjoyed seeing Glenn and hearing him read his poems aloud at dVerse's OLN LIVE....and his Blackthorne series was always so adventurous to follow. What an amazing man he was and what an amazing life he led. His voice will be missed by many.
I sent my thanks to his family, for sharing this amazing man with so many in terms of his writing and presence. May you be comforted by knowing he was loved by many who never truly met him.

A most incredible Poet and a genuinely warm and kind soul! I still remember the first time I came across his work and was blown away. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones .. may you find peace in knowing that Glenn was, is and will continue to be revered by many many people in the online Poetry community! ❤️❤️ Rest in peace. I was always touched by Glenn's poetry for his was an honest voice that never wavered from his beliefs. Rest in Peace Dear Glenn.
