I once heard a black historian say he was black. William Blake said he looked like the person who believed him or not. Who knows? Doesn't matter, I think. But I do believe that the blond haired blue eyed god is a demon, as my poet friend Crucial might say. lol
You're right; scripture says there was nothing physically appealing which would draw people to him. My interpretation is that he was not particularly attractive ... probably muscular, though, since he did physical labor for much of his life. And yes, dark. Soft when he needed to be, hard when he needed to be. And funny, I always picture him making people laugh. :)
