Across
black hedges
fine mist
flows
from the mouth
of a gold mine.
Early summer flag’s
dark face
of a Gibbons
monkey,
laps
pearl
streetlight
from the bare shoulder
of a spruce.
The spruce's
fur
flinches
like that
of a
wild mustang.
