Dream Dancing
“Those who were seen dancing were thought to be
insane by those who could not hear the music,”
--Friedrich Nietzche.
Pepper breeze,
melting lull,
rose leaves,
dawn ghost,
curling bubble breath,
Spring balloons,
fear giggle,
green breeze,
cloud journey,
storm scars,
whisper jar
drizzle echo
shimmering slip,
twisting leaves,
sound cue,
spilling sparks,
giggle shadow,
flickering,
dream dancing--
opening into that
actual
blissful hope.

YES. Sigh. I LOVE hope being the end tail of this. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteOh I do love that you did a second... that winding path towards the end is excellent.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteNice quote by Nietzche and ending on the bliss of hope which some can't feel.
ReplyDeleteDream Dancing - Now that was some tango with words.
ReplyDeleteLove the quote you used. Your poem looks and feels like a Tango!
ReplyDeleteDude. This is awesome. The way you play with spacing is always so effective. I misread "jar" as "jazz." That's what you are --- a whisper jazz jar artist. A most captivating and intriguing poet. Love your work, G.

ReplyDeleteLoved this- excellent effort..
ReplyDeleteWell done!
ReplyDeleteLove the swirl and sway of your lines to create the dance....but "pepper breeze" will stay with me.
