MANIFEST DENSITY OF DARKNESS
Nobody smiles into the mayhem
and the news keeps coming,
driven by shapes of shattered lives
and the lies of inept descendants
of that merry crew that governed
way back when. Let’s rip free
of all this murder and loss,
this textured despair and disrepair,
let’s get to the other side of darkness,
let’s find the courage to stop
the hopeless collision of abrupt causes,
the aggressive mirage of indefensible war
