Something Special

When you think about it,
all those wonderful art movies
that Brando never actually made
left us instead sifting the rude ashes
of his comically demented
misfits roaming the harsh Mexican Diaspora.
Then along came The Missouri Breaks,
with Marlon,
the most terrifying regulator of all time,
easing a Creedmore rifle from its scabbard
while dressed like Kierkegaard
in full-bonnet, granny get-up.
Now, despite whatever else you
could possibly say about it,
that’s something special!
