Untitled: RK VII
Painting by Michelangelo Buonarroti
Untitled: RK VII
Suppose I took the colors from my face
took away the bones and hair
bones and hair arrange on white
to spell a subtle word
in Arabic perhaps, resurrection
of the body is what it would mean
a knife edge to walk along
to the mountain lost in the sky
we see only the shadow of it
and call this shadow the light.
