the snow, still dreaming of march,
the snow, still dreaming of march,
stirs tonight. the weatherman has
confirmed it, the skies have confirmed
it, my toes are confirming it. the snow
hides balled fists of confetti in his
pockets, waiting. i am not so patient –
i search beneath the comforters for
sleep so that you may arrive sooner.
it only works for the first three hours
