Revelation

Revelation

“The highest revelation is that God
is in every man.”--Ralph Waldo Emerson.

When we perform
introspection,
looking deep within,
supposedly to discover
some answers,
what we open
is a version            of Pandora’s box;
                    trillions of pieces
          of the cosmic puzzle,
where we witness
our aura
mantled in rainbows.

Existentialism
provides no answers for our
metaphysical search.

Quite true, big words and all. :)

Wonderful, Glenn. Yes, we are a bit of everything when we look inside and the goal of life, I suppose, is to use it to create a beautiful piece of found art. Much enjoyed.

I wonder though if the answers is what matters... isn't it just asking the questions...

Lovely quadrille. And no, existentialism does not provide us any answers, contrary to popular thought. Questions are always good but answers, we need answers, don't we?

NICE, Glenn.

Too true - the deeper we look, the deeper we fall! So much said with so few words - respect, Glenn!

As a post-theistic Christian existentialist, I loved this from start to finish.

I think the more we think we know, the less we really do. Wonderful revelation, Glenn!

our aura

.... it's true..but we hae to keep searching even if there are no answers at first.

so very true & profound....i'm also reminded of the fairy Hope, that last piece hidden in P.'s box :)

Perhaps we should seek answers in nature, within the simplicity of life...some good lessons there.
Love this thought-provoking quadrille.

Pandora's Box - classical and timeless. We can't resist opening it because we are human and we love a puzzle. I love those lines:

' trillions of pieces
of the cosmic puzzle,
where we witness
our aura
mantled in rainbows.'

Lovely piece!

This is beautiful. At times I fall on the category of existentialist while some days I just let life's mystery unfolds by itself.

But who could resist opening that box? Great metaphor!

I'm glad to look inside the box and see "our aura mantled in rainbows", which speaks to me of being in God's image...a beautiful thought, Glenn!

no word(s) now is big enough

not Existentialism and

only humans attempt to
capture that in words.. and
that's fine as long as words beCome

witness our aura in rainbow --- how I adore this thought!
Glenn: Have been "under the weather" these past 5 or so days -- finally saw doc yesterday and started a regimen of antibiotics. Hence have not posted lately (except a prescheduled one) nor have I had the energy to read. So apologies. Am hosting poetics today -- and starting to feel better so will enjoy getting back at it. Just wanted you to know --- usually I read everything but just couldn't do it lately :(

Empirical evidence from personal experience is a more rational option. That is true Glenn!
