Cars in 1960 cost less than 100 bucks. You could buy them cheap, and drive them several months until a major mechanical failure drove you into buying something else. As a kid, I had a lot more cars than most guys because I was not mechanically inclined, but those cars are still vivid memories for any boomers. Here a "few" of mine.
Glenn
1949 Plymouth; bulletproof.
1934 Plymouth coupe, with a 1947 Chrysler flat head six cylinder engine.
My last Chevvy, this was the Cruiser convertible; 396 engine, 4-speed on the floor; what a ride!!
My 1952 Chevrolet business coupe was a hard charger. I loved it, kept it for years.
The 1955 Chevvy, one of my favorite cars. I had a stick shift.
