Powerful poetics, bitter sweet, letting the birds of the city, free spirits that they are, fly in for the icon you carry within/in the shape of you/. Wonderful flight of fancy, and yet so much more; as many of your poems transform mere language into the purest emotion, the deepest connections to the pulse of life, the shadows of death, and the joy you find regardless of the morning porridge of pain.
