Janet Leigh was just not finished yet when she composed TAFFY BY YOUR SIDE. There was more to say, as she reflected on her own furkinder; Rascal--our little man, and Contessa Chi Chi--Tweety-peety-piety-pootie Tess. My daughters had given Taffy a nick name too--Taffer Dack Malleenus Darkeenus. Ah yes.

Glenn’s furkid Taffy - may she rest in peace - continued:
Your furkids’ passing
put the fear of God in me
mine will pass on, too!
Thought tore itself up
from bowels through heart to head-
May they bypass death!
Life-end makes precious
living full with passions ON-
Then screech to fast halt.
When our light goes out
we rise to eternal life-
