She awakes from a Tokay sleep.
Belltown, the old whore, weeps.
"Where are my junkies, my sailors?
Who has stolen my brooding Indians?

And what bastard erased my shadowy slums
and erected those hideous pastel condominiums?
Where have these arrogant children come from,
all day and night chipper, posing and chirping?"

Belltown, the old whore, prays.
On her knees she prays to her god, Tokay.
"Lord, send me an earthquake, a seven-point-five,
shatter the condos and bury those fuckers alive."
