Movie Script 159
Painting by Irene Nowicki
Movie Script 159
We, my multiple selves, watch
The drunkenness of rain.
Once the white painted curled iron
Imitating a Chinese wood carving,
The top of the table was sober,
But now with inebriation ebullient
With silver streaks. Fallen ebony berries,
Wandering the streets of tent markets
Among white onions and white garlic,
The bins are seeds from oaks called “laurel.”
The mystery of animation invents
The disappeared object, brings visions.
