Even In Death

Image borrowed from Bing

Even In Death

the eleventh hour
lingered too long
clocks stopped
and mirrors covered
still you breathed
down my neck
and in my ear
your vile atrocity
of memory
hung fog like
and funked
like the stench
of your corpse
rotting
even after your
much celebrated
death
