Lavender Dream

Dreamscape by George Grie

LAVENDER DREAM

Lavender -- the dream's in blue
Then you wake up, oceanside,
And so you think, Dolores,
Of angels with dirty faces,
And you're in love.
Trains don't stop birds
On Perspex Island under
Lavender moon.
Saint, be unbelievable
Like a door of clean glass.
Don't look in
At Reva's house of love;
The vegetation writhes, and
When the circus comes,
Dimes fall, near Lysander,
Arizona, from the skies.
O child of the universe,
Short side of nothing,
Do you exist?
The two Janes, a wicked ride,
If you pour whiskey, rains go away!
O earthly peace in Paradise.
