Sensible Shoes
Painting by Osnet Tzadok
Sensible Shoes
i recite line after line,
slice your isolation
with fused, metallic words
cube you up like Braque
make you colourful
because
i'm dedicated like that...
rain-swept hair
smooth, slick skin
i flex my aura
like a white noise band
i splash abstracts in your face
what you think is, is not...
i dont own sensible shoes
or logical conversation
you dont get my poetry
but i'm bold as brass,
undaunted, barefoot
in the grass...
