A Lonely Man and an Unlonely Woman
A Lonely Man and an Unlonely Woman
I asked her, "Do you know the color of the sky?"
"Yes," she said, "It is the same color
as the blue of my veins on top
my slender and delicate hands."
I looked at the blue of the veins
on top of her hands.
It was a different blue from the blue of the sky,
But what could I say?
I became nervous, asked her,
"Do you know the color of coral in caves
under gulf water?"
"Yes, the coral is the same color as my lips."
I looked at her lips.
What could I say?
