Erotica Horribilis

Erotica Horribilis

“I just wanted to test myself, to see if I could
overcome the dire situation I was headed toward.”
--Timothy Treadwell

Though he
was in shock,
he could clearly
hear the terrible
crunch as
bear 141,
a rogue grizzly,
bit his left leg off
at the knee.

It happened
in slow motion--

after thirteen summers
in Alaska,
he was being
devoured alive.

Death
had

teeth.

Oh, Glenn.
"Death had teeth" is brilliant. The pacing of this is just perfect.

This is brilliant --- what you did with the title, the bear metaphor. I am bowing to your brain right now.

Ouch... yes I heard that story. I can not even imagine the sense in being eaten alive. Teeth definitely brings death.

I should have made dentures for this grizzly. .... the ending would have been different. More's the pity!😉

A good reason to avoid bears or take precautions.

Dude.
I can think of few deaths that would be worse than being slowly eaten alive.

Mess with the grizzly and you will def get the teeth.

Until I read Bjorn's comment, I did not realise your words were of a actual event.
Further reading has led my blood to run cold. What a terrible death.
