you are leaning over, a silver

you are leaning over, a silver
lining fastened to your
endless curves, a memory
clung to your back:
the broad visage of a sky wedged
between towering buildings,
a creaking fire
escape for the mornings,
and just enough
space for the nights.
i am in love
with this tunneling, this always
looking up
and into,
this falling
that never bruises
.
