Obloquies
“A truth that’s told with bad intent
beats all the lies you could invent.”
--William Blake.
Something
I can’t abide
is lying.
I believe
that any lie
is a breach of trust.
It’s sad enough
when I’m lied to,
with the lie being
a monody,
but when
it’s told
to the entire nation
or the world,
it just becomes
criminal.

Lying like that is propaganda... and there are many believing his lies.
I long for only the normal untruths told by politicians...
Ah these politicians know well how to twist the truth and spew lies for their own benefit. You rocked the prompt!❤️
Nice one Glen
Happy Monday

You can fool all of the people some of the time...
He's a grifter.
I don't know how you managed to0 capture the antithesis we all feel in 44 words, Glenn. I wholeheartedly agree!
Once you identify the Liar as liar, everything he/she says is mere palaver; ignorable. Nice work, Glenn.
He's the epitomy of human ugliness. His face on the nation is like an oozing sore on one's arm that's been there so long you're not surprised by its toxicity anymore and pray the antibiotics get rid of soon.
My father always said that lying was the worst sin...and Trump's are piled so high there will be no pit deep enough to hold him. The silence of his enablers are pretty much the same as lying in my book.
It does seem criminal that he still strives to cause chaos with his lies.
I hear you.
He should be thrown in jail for his lies. Well said!
All politicians have a different notion of 'truth' to the one children are taught. It goes hand in hand with self-interest.
I couldn’t agree more, Glenn. Surely all the lies he’s told as president amount to perjury, as he made a solemn oath to the Constitution which means he should go to prison. I hope all of his crooked deals and lies come back to bite him where it hurts.
Agreed.
