Nick Fury--art by Jim Steranko
In the Nick
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery--only
today makes a difference.”--Nick Saban.
There was a tick
named Nick,
and his favorite trick
was to nick folks
in the neck,
making his escape
in the nick of time;
nicknamed Slick Nick.
Reindeer on the roof
in August, looks like Old Saint Nick
let them off the leash.

Ha! What fun! A veritable supernova of noble and notable Nicks!
Another rhyming Nick quad. Fun stuff floating around today.
Oh love the clever rhymes... not sure that slick nick is a good guy
Slick - wily, slick knife- an apt name and a fun write!
HA! You gave Nick a much more proper nickname than I did, Glenn.
Gosh, I squeezed in 8 Nicks counting image, title & quote & poem; too much good fun.
This one ‘nicked me in the funny bone
I love your play with words in this poem. Slick Nick... sounds like a politician!!
That is a lotta nicks dude. I used to wear nic nic (pronounced nick nick) limited-edition shirts back in the 70’s, always with a pair of LandLubber hip-hugger bell bottoms — devastatingly cool man!i That has nothing to do with anything, it’s just that all your nicks brought that to mind. Fun write brother...
lots of fun here :)
Delightful Glenn!
nick, nick
here a nick
there a nice
everywhere a nick nick!
LOVE it! :)
