In the Nick

Nick Fury--art by Jim Steranko

In the Nick

“Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery--only
today makes a difference.”--Nick Saban.

There was a tick
named Nick,
and his favorite trick
was to nick folks
in the neck,
making his escape
in the nick of time;
nicknamed Slick Nick.

Reindeer on the roof
in August, looks like Old Saint Nick
let them off the leash.

HA! You gave Nick a much more proper nickname than I did, Glenn.

That is a lotta nicks dude. I used to wear nic nic (pronounced nick nick) limited-edition shirts back in the 70’s, always with a pair of LandLubber hip-hugger bell bottoms — devastatingly cool man!i That has nothing to do with anything, it’s just that all your nicks brought that to mind. Fun write brother...
