needs to be
the central keep
of our moral castle.
Yet, today
it is more keepsake
than mainstay.
Most would agree
that Trump
is not a keeper;
unless it’s
Keeper of the Royal Lies.
It’s quite the chore
keeping political poetics
light-hearted.

I am starting to wonder if there won't be another four years of his bull-in-a-china-shop finesse....
each day that infields, I am more amazed at his antics. It's calculating, designed to numb us to the next horrible thing he's done.
Keep up the good work, Glenn. I don't know how anything to do with the presidunce could be light-hearted. I agree with Linda. He wants to keep pushing to see just how much he can get away with as it sets the precedent for the next presidunce without a shred or morals and shuns the truth.

Glenn, like the pointed nature of this truth telling. And I sadly agree with Björn, he ain’t goin’ away for another four years. And after his 8 years of idiocy, can you image the jackass that the ignorant minority will vote in next time — unless the intelligent moral people of this country find the balls to do what must be done.
I like how you used the word "keep" in different, apt ways.

I see a second term of this man, and it depresses me no end. But we have Boris, so there you have it - bookends.
And he would pee on that fence in public, eager to show how it should be done.
