Reapers “R” Us

Reapers run wild, especially in America. We lament
the 2,997 lives lost on 9/11, but we are numb to the
650,000 lives already lost to Covid. We have the cure
for Covid--three superior vaccines. Christ Almighty, we
are not strangers to vaccines. In Boot Camp I got ten of
them in one day.
I still blame dumb ass Trump for sowing the sorrowful
seeds of doubt, helping to create cadres of sad
misinformed millions who resist and reject the new
vaccines. We are in worse shape today than we were
18 months ago, and now our children are dying. More
than 90% of all new hospitalizations and deaths are
unvaccinated Republicans. We will never escape the
lethal shadow of plague until we all pull together, and
get the shot(s). So if all do their duty, they need not
fear harm, or criticism, or death.

I just can't deal with the hypocrites demanding the liberty to spread disease and waving flags.
It is really incomprehensible, the situation you describe! And the worst thing is people who have had the vaccine being persecuted. I think we all have a duty to stop the spread of this thing, as fast as possible.
This is incredibly poignant and oh so timely, Glenn. We are facing a serious and grave situation at the moment. I sincerely hope and pray that more lives are not lost.
You cast the scenario perfectly, Glenn. I lay blame at his feet in yet another direction as well. May karma deal with him for the harm he has done to our country!

The blame does lie at the feet of the orange teflon beast -- and he knows it! He's created a bigger monster than himself. I'm sure you heard about the rally where he urged the magates to get vaccinated and was booed.
"More than 90% of all new hospitalizations and deaths are unvaccinated Republicans." I can live with that. What I can't live with are the children at schools who can't get vaccinated and are being contaminated by the children of those dying and dead unvaccinated Republicans.
The Reaper is a long way from reaping the fruits of our folly.

Amen! Well stated. I will never understand the mentality of those opposed to a vaccine but then maybe there is no mentality to understand. It is a crime that the well-being of children is jeopardized by the recklessness and idiocy of adults. I think we usually call children's services for such things.
The unvaccinated ceome in all shapes, but those deniers are the worst. I really wonder sometimes if freedom is worth it. If nothing else anyone who says they care about not wasting tax payers money would take the jab just to be able to balance the health care at least.
Glad you went in this direction .... needs to be said over and over.
